Memorial services for Michael David Hausrath, “Unca Mike”, 71, of Willoughby, will be at 7 PM on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Born August 4, 1944 in Cleveland, he was a lifelong Lake County resident.

Mike passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at his daughter’s home in Timberlake Village.

He was an avid reader and enjoyed visiting the library. He loved football, golf, working crossword puzzles and playing cards with friends.

Mike was employed as standards applicator at the former Towmotor (Caterpillar) Corporation in Mentor for approximately 12 years, where he made many lifelong friends.

Survivors are his daughter, Deb (George) Hanna of Timberlake Village; granddaughters, Veronica and Sylvia Bon Tempo; sister, Karen (Stan) Maizel of Lakewood and cousin, William (Cathy) Splete of South Euclid. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and their families and his lifelong friend, Judy Parmenter of Concord Township.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Evelyn (Woidtke) Hausrath.
