Services for Michael W. Jefferis, 60, of Willoughby, will be at 7:30 PM on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Larry A. Pozza of ShadeTree Community Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 5:30-7:30 PM on Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Jefferis passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.

Born March 31, 1957 in Toledo, he graduated from Rossford High School in Rossford and has lived in Willoughby for the past 30 years.

He was a Past Exalted Ruler of The Benevolent Protective Order of Elk, Cleveland-Willoughby Lodge 18 and was also an avid car lover. He also enjoyed golfing, basketball and socializing with many beloved friends.

Mr. Jefferis was employed as a Quality Engineer with the Lockheed-Martin Corporation for the past ten years.

Survivors are his wife of 37 years, Dianne (Felt) Jefferis; son, Jacob (Rachel) Jefferis and their children, Landon and Sadie; daughter, Sara Jefferis (fiancée, Matthew Lark); mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Jefferis; brother, David Jefferis and sister, Rebecca (Patrick) Elmore. He also leaves his nieces and nephews along with his faithful companion, Louie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Jefferis in 1983.
