Services for Nancy L. Black, 79, of Mentor, will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave, Willoughby. Pastor Dale Diggs of New Promise Church will officiate at the service.

Mrs. Black passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015. She held various secretarial positions and was last employed at Sam’s Club.

She was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, Willoughby Chapter #202, and an active member and Past High Priestess of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Kheedawee Court #6 and a graduate of Euclid High, class of 1954.

Survivors are her husband of 58 years, F. Larry Black; daughters, Lynne (Herb) Arko of Leroy Twp., Dawn (Ron Tada) Lyons of Fairview Park, Joy Black of Willowick and Bonnie (Chris) Vaidean of Twinsburg; grandchildren, Kevin, Dayna, Renee, Nicole, Duncan, Angela, Amanda, Joey and one great-grandson, Kevin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklyn and Helen Morrow.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 PM on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Final resting place will be in Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Shriners Hospital for Children, 1654 West 8th St., Erie, PA 16505
