Services for Olin Lane Cody, 86, of Eastlake, will be at 11 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

Mr. Cody passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012.

Born May 15, 1926 in Jonesville, VA, he has lived in Lake County for more than 60 years.

He was a World War II United States Army veteran, an avid fisherman and hunter, and enjoyed trapshooting and gardening.

Mr. Cody was employed as a machinist at the former Chase Brass and Copper Company in Euclid, retiring in 1988 after 40 years of service.

Survivors are his wife of 63 years, Doris Elizabeth (Lynn) Cody; son, Thomas (Roberta) Cody of Mentor and daughter, Kathleen Green of Mentor-on-the-Lake; grandchildren, Heather Cody, Kirsten Cody, Melissa Green and Jason Green, Sr.; great grandchildren, Rebecca Green-Holmes, Nicholas Green-Holmes, Jason Green, Jr., Justin Green and Cody Laurich.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Kate (Edwards) Cody, six brothers, one sister and his grandson, Charles Green, Jr. in March, 2011;

Friends may call from 5-8 PM Tues., Dec. 18, 2012 and from 10-11 AM on Weds., at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
