Patricia “Pat” Ann Dengel was born to Jeanette (Pagano) and Edward Berry on August 25th, 1942. She peacefully passed away in her Willoughby home on January 2nd, 2021 at the age of 78. She reunited with those who preceded her in death, including her husband of 47 years Matt Dengel, their beloved son Eddie Dengel, her parents and her brother, Edward Berry Jr.

Pat was known for her love of art, music, and politics, along with her strong will and sarcastic wit. Most of all, Pat was proud of the strong legacy that she and her husband created. She loved her family above all else, and jokingly reassured them that she “wouldn’t trade [her family] for a good one.”

She is survived by her sister, Eileen Berry; her children, Deanna Lynn, Tony (Sue) Dengel, Roxanne Dengel, and Chrissy (Chris) Walsh; her grandchildren, Stephen (Leeann) Kormos, William (Victoria) Turosky, Stephanie Klein, Richard Klein, Anthony Dengel, Tyler (Ashleigh) Klein, Domenic Dengel, Kennedy (Tommy) Westfall, and Cheyanne Klein; and her great-grandchildren, Tyleigh Klein, Sterling and Vera Kormos, and in a few months, Ella Turosky and baby Klein.

Calling hours will take place on Friday, January 8, 2020 from 5-8 PM at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Her funeral mass will take place at 12 Noon on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.

Final resting place will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
