A Christian memorial service for Patricia Ann (Scott) Meyer, 95, of Willoughby, will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Willoughby United Methodist Church, 15 Public Square, Willoughby. The Rev. Donald R. Perks will officiate at the service.<br><br>Mrs. Meyer passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Fairmount Health Center in Willoughby with her family at her side. <br><br>She was born December 29, 1922 in Springfield, the daughter of the late Horace and Verna (Brooks) Scott. <br><br>After graduating from Springfield High School, Pat attended Miami University prior to marriage and starting a family. <br><br>Pat was an extraordinarily loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who truly enjoyed spending time with her family. She particularly enjoyed following her grandchildren’s sporting events. <br><br>She was a consummate homemaker and loved to cook and bake for her family. She was well known for her pie making abilities. <br><br>Pat was a volunteer for 39 years at Lake West Medical Center, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and an active member of Willoughby United Methodist Church. <br><br>Survivors are her sons, Dan (Patti) Meyer and Andrew (Joanne) Meyer; daughter, Jane Brower; grandchildren, Christine (Christopher) Harris, Scott Meyer, Sarah (Paul) Lombardo, Larry Meyer, Nick (Allison) Meyer, Gretchen (Joe) Bencar, Joe Meyer, Benjamin (Kristin) Brower, Kathryn (Ryan) Toerner and Andrew (Haley) Brower; great-grandchildren, Austin and Marc Harris; Sophia and Nicholas Meyer; Jack, Maria and Daniel Lombardo; Andrew Meyer; Maximus and Madelyn Meyer; Sadie and Hannah Bencar; Nixon Brower and Vivian, Elise and Chet Toerner. <br><br>She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, James G. Meyer, her parents, three sisters and two brothers. <br><br>Private family burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Cleveland. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Willoughby United Methodist Church, 15 Public Square, Willoughby, OH 44094.<br>
