Mass of Christian Burial for Patrick J. Weakland, 91, of Eastlake, will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Saint Justin Martyr Catholic Church, 35781 Stevens Boulevard, Eastlake. Please meet directly at the Church on Tuesday morning. The Rev. Kevin M. Liebhardt will officiate at the Mass.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 PM on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mr. Weakland passed away Friday, April 21, 2017 at his home.

Born February 25, 1926 in Hastings, PA, he has lived in Eastlake for the past 61 years.

He was a World War II United States Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Posts in Hastings, PA. He was also a member of Saint Justin Martyr Catholic Church in Eastlake.

Mr. Weakland was employed as a timekeeper and expeditor at the former National Acme Company in Cleveland, retiring in 1982 after more than 25 years of service.

Survivors are his wife of 65 years, Margaret (Foxall) Weakland; son, Timothy (Cynthia Brugmann) Weakland; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kevin (Betty) Weakland and Jack (Barb) Weakland; sisters, Joan Weakland and Janet (Richard) Ott. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick K. Weakland in 2007. His parents, Edwin and Ann (Murtha) Weakland and siblings, Francis, Thomas, James, Mary and Kay are also deceased.

Private interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH.
