Paul R. Edmiston

Services for Paul R. Edmiston, 90, of Eastlake, will be at 2 PM on Monday, April 8, 2013 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2 PM on Monday.

Mr. Edmiston passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.

Born August 10, 1922 in Tyrone, PA, he has lived in Eastlake for the past 50 years.

He served in the United States Army during World War II and was also a member of Lakeland Baptist Temple in Eastlake. He loved to work on cars and watch football.

Mr. Edmiston was employed as a crane operator with the former Lucas Machine Company in Cleveland. He retired in 1988 after 28 years of service.

Survivors are his wife of 66 years, Georgia (Ressler); children, Sue Grochowski of Eastlake, Mary (Bernie) Goodrich of Concord Twp. and Paul Edmiston of Euclid; grandchildren, Jennifer, Gerald, Glenn, Katie, Bryan, Kevin and Aaron; 11 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He also leaves his sister, Doris Skinner of San Antonio, TX and many nieces and nephews and their families.

His parents, Ellsworth and Maude (Harpster) Edmiston; brothers, Clayton Harpster and Lee Edmiston and faithful companion, Misty are deceased.

Final resting place will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park in Mayfield Village following the service on Monday.
