Paul R. Edmiston<br><br>Services for Paul R. Edmiston, 90, of Eastlake, will be at 2 PM on Monday, April 8, 2013 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2 PM on Monday. <br><br>Mr. Edmiston passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.<br><br>Born August 10, 1922 in Tyrone, PA, he has lived in Eastlake for the past 50 years. <br><br>He served in the United States Army during World War II and was also a member of Lakeland Baptist Temple in Eastlake. He loved to work on cars and watch football. <br><br>Mr. Edmiston was employed as a crane operator with the former Lucas Machine Company in Cleveland. He retired in 1988 after 28 years of service. <br><br>Survivors are his wife of 66 years, Georgia (Ressler); children, Sue Grochowski of Eastlake, Mary (Bernie) Goodrich of Concord Twp. and Paul Edmiston of Euclid; grandchildren, Jennifer, Gerald, Glenn, Katie, Bryan, Kevin and Aaron; 11 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He also leaves his sister, Doris Skinner of San Antonio, TX and many nieces and nephews and their families.<br><br>His parents, Ellsworth and Maude (Harpster) Edmiston; brothers, Clayton Harpster and Lee Edmiston and faithful companion, Misty are deceased.<br><br>Final resting place will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park in Mayfield Village following the service on Monday. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Lakeland Baptist Temple, 34024 Roberts Road, Eastlake, OH 44095. <br><br>
