Services for Ralph Carrol Garrison, 79, of Eastlake, will be at 11AM on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Grace Church of Mentor, 6883 Reynolds Road, Mentor. <br><br>The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. <br><br>Mr. Garrison passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights.<br><br>Born February 12, 1937 in Littleton, WV, he came to Cleveland in 1960 and then moved to Eastlake since 1975. <br><br>He was a United States Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Grace Church of Mentor. He was an avid Cleveland Cavaliers fan, enjoyed camping and traveling with his wife and spending winters in Sebring, FL. <br><br>Mr. Garrison was employed as a carpenter at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland for many years. <br><br>Survivors are his children, Lesa (Gary) Fertig of Plymouth Twp., Dan (Christal) Garrison of Twinsburg and Terry L. (Christina) Garrison of Akron; grandchildren, Joshua Barnes, Brandon Barnes, Erica Garrison, Cody Garrison, Amanda Garrison, Calvin Alexander and Cheyenne Garrison; five great-grandchildren and sister, Janicesue (Gary) Lough. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and their families. <br><br>He was preceded in death by his wife if 58 years, Janet J. Garrison on April 12, 2015. His parents, John and Addie (Murphy) Garrison and brother, Lawrence Garrison and sisters, Helen Jackson and Wilda Baker are also deceased.<br><br>Committal services and military honors will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH where he will be interred with his wife, Janet. <br><br>
