Memorial services for Ralph L. Slone, 76, of Willowick will be at 7:30 PM on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Andrew Rusnacko of Bible Baptist Temple will officiate at the service.

Family will receive friends 6:00-7:30 PM on Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Slone passed away October 1, 2015 at his residence.

Born September 8, 1939 in West Hamlin, WV, he had lived in Willoughby prior to moving to Willowick in 1977.

He loved country music, trains, horses and being with his family. He loved his little dog, Patches.

Mr. Slone was a machinist retiring from Stanley Air Tools. Prior to that he worked as a truck driver for Universal Metal and a machinist at Conrail. He was also the co-owner of Lakeland Landscape.

Survivors include his sons, Ralph J. (Laly) Slone and David (Cathy) Slone; grandchildren, Melissa (Rusty) Slone, Veronica (Nick) Slone, Jasmine Slone, and Jennifer Slone; sister, Glenna (Bob) Stone and sister-in-law, Virgie Slone.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Slone, who passed away October 30, 2009; his son, Richard Slone; his parents, Herman and Lida Slone; brother, Thurl Slone and sister, Thelma Andreacci.
