A gathering to celebrate the life of Raymond L. Jurcago, 74, of Mentor, will be held from 1-4 PM on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home in Willoughby. <br><br>Mr. Jurcago passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Hospice House in Cleveland. <br><br>Born February 17, 1944 in Cleveland, he has lived in Lake County since 1972.<br><br>He was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War and was a jack of all trades and enjoyed fixing things, especially his Oldsmobiles. <br><br>Mr. Jurcago was employed as a telecommunications specialist at Parker-Hannifin Corporation. He retired in 2007 after 32 years of service. <br><br>Survivors are his two sets of twins, Raymond and Bob (Jill) and Keith (Krista) and Karen Jurcago; grandsons, Nathan, Nolan, Adam, Alex and Andrew and his brother, John (Kathleen) Jurcago. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and their families. <br><br>He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Frances A. (Zipple) Jurcago on Aug. 13, 2011. His parents, Adam and Anna (Kross) Jurcago and sister, Catherine Cotton are also deceased. <br><br>Private family interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville at a later date.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Inc., PO Box 72101, Cleveland, OH 44192-0002.<br>
