Services for Richard F. Melocik, 89, of Willowick, will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Mr. Paul J. Hlabse, Sr. will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the funeral home.

Mr. Melocik passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.

Born October 25, 1928 in Cleveland, he has lived in Willowick for the past 65 years.

He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Melocik was employed at the former Euclid, Inc. as a parts manager, retiring after 30 years of service.

Survivors are his daughters, Sue (Doug) Dams and Tari (Frank) McGuirk, both of Mentor; grandchildren, Tony, Briana (fiancé, Ryan), Mark (Mallory), Rachael (fiancé, Scott) and Justine; great-granddaughter, Emma and sister, Marie Melocik.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Audrey L. Melocik on December 29, 2000. His parents, Fred and Matilda (Walland) Melocik are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery following the service on Wednesday.
