Rita Teresa Ayres

Funeral services for Rita T. Ayres, 82, will be at 11 AM Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Rd., Chester Twp.
Mrs. Ayres passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Saturday, March 10, 2018.
Born in Cleveland, she had been a longtime resident of Chester Twp. Her interests included gardening, bowling, and she was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. Most of all, she loved doing things with and for her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Chris (Debbie) Ayres, Scott Ayres, Michelle (Craig) Simon, Sue (Jim) Lester, and Marty (Kathleen) Ayres; grandchildren, Nicole, Emily, Mitchell, Gabriel, Torreya, Andrew, Ava, Adrian, Casey and Jimmy; as well as two great-grandchildren; sister Virginia Owen; and brother David Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Victor C. Ayres. Her parents, Edward and Rita Johnson and brother, Edward Johnson are also deceased.
Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.
