Robert Thomas Davoli

Services for Robert Thomas Davoli, Sr., 87, of Willoughby, will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Robert D. Schuler of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Davoli passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby, with his wife by his side.

Born October 20, 1925 in Nemacolin, PA, he was raised in Latrobe, PA and has lived in Willoughby for the past 57 years.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willoughby, the Willoughby (Browning) Senior Center and enjoyed playing golf, painting and woodworking.

Mr. Davoli was employed as an engineer at Kennametal Corporation for 39 years, retiring in 1989.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Karolyn (Lynch) Davoli; son, Robert Thomas (Cecilia) Davoli of Rutherfordton, NC and Diane Lynn (Michael) Davis of Mount Vernon, IN; grandchildren, Thomas (Lauren) Davis, Lauren (fiancé, Thomas Reichard) Davis of Columbus and Melanie Davis of Mount Vernon, IN. He also leaves his sister, Luella Bell of Latrobe, PA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Davoli, his mother and step-father, Luella (Robert) Mac Lachlan and his brothers, Raymond Davoli and James Mac Lachlan.

Additional services and interment will be held in Latrobe, PA on Wednesday, May 29, 2013.
