Rosa M. Mix

Funeral services for Rosa M. Mix, 81, of Painesville, formerly of Willoughby, will be at
7 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mix passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Heartland of Mentor.

Born June 11, 1936 in Cameron, WV, Mrs. Mix has lived in Painesville the past 18 years.

She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family.

Rosa was employed as a cashier at Convenient Food Mart in Willoughby.

Survivors include her daughters, Debbie (Bill) Beasley, Sandy (Patrick McGlynn) Mix, Karen (Mike Radmanic) Mix and Vicki (David) Burdette; son, John (Laura) Mix; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Strope. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert E. Mix, on April 21, 2014. Her parents, Charles Stanley and Helen V. (Sloan) Strope and sisters, Ruth Heidkamp, Nancy Peters, and Joan Littleton are also deceased.

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
