Sandy (Deans) Prekel

Services for Sandy (Deans) Prekel, 89, of Willowick, will be at 4 PM on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 1-4 PM on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Prekel passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Maltz Hospice in Beachwood.

Born June 13, 1928 in Cleveland, she has lived in Lake County for the past 50 years.

Sandy will be remembered as a Godly woman who was blessed with His strength, Grace and beauty and loved her Lord.

Survivors are her husband of 24 years, Gary; children, Kathy (Renard, deceased) Flack, Gary (JoAnne) Deans and Doug Deans; grandchildren, Jason (Shannon) Deans, Michael Deans, Joshua Flack and Zachary Flack; great-grandchildren, Allyson and Evan Deans; brother, Ralph Ferrara and sister, Gerrie Pappalardo.

She also leaves her husband Gary’s families, close friend, Jeffrey Kaelber and niece Katherine Meyers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Katherine (Minillo) Ferrara and her brother, Joseph Ferrara.
