Services for Sonja E. (Senn) Doughty, 43, of Madison, will be at 8 PM on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. Sonja passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at her home. Born February 13, 1969 in Cleveland, she lived in University Heights before moving to Madison 17 years ago. She loved her children, family and dogs. She was a 1995 graduate of Ursuline College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Sonja was a sales representative for Avon, and having been a licensed beautician, she was especially meticulous about her hair and nails. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Keith, whom she married August 4, 1995; her sons, Dillon and Zackary; her parents, Robert and Dr. Laura (Casey) Burns of University Heights; in-laws, David (Peggy) Doughty of Eastlake; brother-in-law, David Jr. (Donna) Doughty of Madison; niece, Krysta and nephew, David. Her grandparents, Michael and Christine Casey, John and Teresa Burns, Harold and Marjorie Spear and Clifford and Katherine Doughty are deceased. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert A. Gaston will officiate at the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in care of the family.
