Services for Stewart Chambers, Jr., 80, of Concord Twp., will be at 8 PM on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Friends may call from 2-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. <br><br>Mr. Chambers passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at his home. <br><br>Born October 4, 1932 in Canonsburg, PA, he was a longtime Lake County resident. <br><br>He was a United States Marine Corps veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid golfer, having scored a hole-in-one twice, on the same hole at Blackbrook Country Club in Mentor. He was also a member of Collinwood Lodge 582 F. & A.M., and the Scottish Rite Valley of Cleveland. <br><br>Mr. Chambers was employed as a manufacturing engineer at the former Fisher Body Division of General Motors in Cleveland. He retired after 32 years of service. <br><br>He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shelby (Long) Chambers; children, Diane (Richard) Turk of Willowick, Debby (Carl) Roloff of Lakewood and Stewart (Susan) Chambers, III of Eastlake; grandchildren, Richard (Jen), Melissa and Jessica; great grandson, Mason and siblings, Robert, Barbara, Garnet, Roger, Jerry, Alice and Linda. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families and his four-legged companion, Queenie. <br><br>His parents, Stewart, Sr. and Ada Chambers and sister, Kathy are deceased.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to the Lake County Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd., Unit E, Mentor, OH 44060 or the Shriners Burn Hospitals, c/o Al Koran Shrine, 1000 East Edgerton Road, Broadview Hts., OH 44147. <br>
