Mass of Christian Burial for Terry Ann (Roche) Grano, 61, of Mentor, will be at 11 AM on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Saint Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 8560 Mentor Avenue, Mentor.

The family will receive friends from 3-8 PM on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Terry passed away surrounded in love by her family on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at her home.

Born May 25, 1955 in Cleveland, she was raised in Willowick and has lived in Mentor for the past 26 years.

She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, class of 1973 and the former Huron Road Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1976. In 1994, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cleveland State University.

Terry was a physical fitness enthusiast, enjoying swimming, cross country skiing, biking and kayaking. She was a member and Past President of the Diabetes Association of Greater Cleveland. Above all else, Terry will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother, and truly the best “GG” that any kid in the world could ask for.
She will be missed by many.

Terry was employed as a certified diabetes educator with Lake Health Systems for over 20 years, where she helped educate patients to live a quality of life while managing their disease.

Survivors are her husband of 40 years, Philip N. Grano; sons, Christopher (Leanne) Grano and Nicholas (Tara) Grano; daughter, Kimberly (Neal) Saluja; grandchildren, Robert, James and Evelyn Grano; Nicholas, Charles and Elizabeth Grano and Cole and Grant Saluja; siblings, Joe (Lynn) Roche, Kevin (Dawn) Roche, Kathy Couture and Steve Roche; sisters-in-law, Kathi Roche and Linda Grano. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families as well as many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Rosemary (McCarthy) Roche and brother, Tom Roche.

Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery.
