Graveside services and interment for Thomas A. Park, 69, of Wickliffe, will be 10 AM Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Mount Hope Cemetery, 30000 Miles Road, Solon. Mr. Park passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights. Born June 24, 1942 in Cleveland, he had lived in Wickliffe for more than 40 years. He was a member of Willoughby Lodge 302 Free and Accepted Masons, Royal Arch Masons Chapter 231 in Willoughby and Eagle Commandery 29 in Painesville. He served as Past Potentate of Al Koran Shrine Valley of Cleveland and also as a Past Chief of The Camel Herders. He was also a member of every shrine club and unit of Al Koran Temple, and was also member and jester of Tadmor Temple in Akron. He served as chairman of the Al Koran Shrine Circus for many years. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2300 in Willoughby and The Benevolent Protective Order of Elk, Cleveland-Willoughby Lodge 18 and enjoyed camping, boating and gun collecting. Mr. Park was a self-employed machinist and entrepreneur. Survivors are his children, Brian (Melanie) Park of Yucaipa, CA and Laura (Alan) Ross of Shingle Springs, CA; grandchildren, Taylor, Haley, Madison and Peyton Park and Michael, Lindsey and Allison Ross; brother, Raymond (Sherry) Park of Cortland and sister, Carol Park of Wickliffe and niece, Kimberley. He also leaves his longtime companion, Lady Eve Kachline of Highland Heights and her children, John (Christine) Kachline, Jeff (Shannon) Kachline and Cheryl (Tim) Haddon and their children, J.J., Amy, Eric, Mason, Mya and Stephen Kachline, Samantha Bowers and Hailey and Jenna Haddon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Florence (Driscoll) Park. The family will receive friends from 4-7:30 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Brethren and friends of Willoughby Lodge 302 will conduct Masonic services at 7:30 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Shriners' Hospitals for Children, c/o Al Koran Shrine, 1000 East Edgerton Road, Broadview Heights, OH 44147.
