Obituary for Vito P. Falcone

Services for Vito P. Falcone, 96, of Willoughby, will begin at 7 PM on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Brethren and friends of Acacia Lodge 651 F. & A.M. will conduct masonic services followed by the Rev. David Durkit of the First United Church of Christ in Eastlake.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Falcone passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.

Born December 22, 1918 in Green Township, PA, he has lived in Willoughby for the past 42 years, moving from Euclid.

He was a member of First United Church of Christ in Eastlake and Acacia Lodge 651 F. & A.M.

Mr. Falcone was employed as a draftsman/designer at the former TRW Corporation. He retired in 1982 after more than 40 years of service.

Survivors are his daughters, Marjorie (Frank) Peto and Ellen (Bob) Smith, both of Mentor; grandchildren, Lisa Cutter, Frank M. Peto, Christina (John) Dodge, Kathleen (Jay) Wright, Amy Smith (Billy) Dwyer and Patrick (Rachel) Smith; great-grandchildren, Devin (Ryan) Jarvis, Brendan Ballard, Cody Cutter, Jacob Cutter, Haylie Wright, Jay Jack Wright, Gianna Dodge, Joshua Smith, Joseph Dodge, Levi Smith, Noah Smith and Redmond Dwyer and brother, Mario Falcone.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 69 years, Maggie, on May 26, 2011. His parents, Sam and Erminia (Pepe) Falcone and sisters, Mary Martony, Edith Virgin, Louise Friend, Amelia “Minnie” Onisi and Josephine Thomas are also deceased.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Inc., 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110-2602.
