William Norman Fierle Obituary

Services for William N. Fierle, 94, of Willoughby, will be at 11 am on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Donald P. Beaumont of Bethel Lutheran Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Mr. Fierle passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, December 17, 2018.

Born March 29, 1924 in Cleveland, he has lived in Willoughby for the past 29 years.

He was a World War II United States Navy veteran and enjoyed singing.

Mr. Fierle was employed by the former Cleveland Transit System, now known as Regional Transit Authority (RTA). He retired as a supervisor of mechanics.

Survivors are his children, Lynne (Frank) Kennedy, Carole (Joseph) Bybee, Peggy (Hadley) Kline, Christine (Joseph) Baglione and William Fierle; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and sister, Alice Ryan.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Norma (Snider) Fierle on June 16, 2014.

Final resting place will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Wounded Warriors In Action Foundation, Team Erie Ohio, 21650 Wilmore Avenue, Euclid, OH 44123.
