William F. Lindeman

William F. Lindeman, 75, of Mentor, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 28, 2020 due to complications of cancer.<br><br>Beloved husband of 32 years of Lorraine (nee: Harris), who preceded him in death on April 27, 2018; loving father of Ron (Jean) Lindeman; grandfather of Victoria and Shane; brother of JoAnn Lindeman and Dolly (John) Bodak; uncle of Don and Tom Franco, Dwayne and Tammy Beam. He also leaves his dedicated companion, Jammi. <br><br>He was also preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Jane (nee: Blusiewicz) Lindeman.<br><br>Bill was an avid cruiser, having sailed on well over 30 cruises, earning Elite status with Princess Cruises. He spent much of his lifetime enjoying camping, boating, fishing and countless trips in his RV. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of Willoughby Lodge 302 Free and Accepted Masons, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and many other associations. <br><br>His family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Compassus Hospice and their dedicated staff for their compassionate and comforting care. <br><br>Private family services and burial will be held due to the current coronavirus pandemic. A celebration of his life will be held a later date, once restrictions are relaxed concerning the Covid-19 virus. <br>
