Private family services will be held for William E. Lord, 75, of Willoughby.
Mr. Lord passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021.
Born April 24, 1945 in Painesville, he was a lifelong Lake County resident.
Mr. Lord was a lifelong sheet-metal worker and served as president of U.A.W. Local 2262. He retired from the former Argo-Tech Corporation in 1997.
He will be remembered as a great story and joke teller, a kind and generous man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, of whom he was extremely proud.
Survivors are his wife of 55 years, Barbara (Gates) Lord; daughter, Sue Wyant and son, Jeff Lord; grandsons, Tyler Lord, Logan Wyant, Brady Wyant and granddaughter, Brooklyn Wyant; sister, Christine Litwiler; brothers, Tom (Patty) Lord and Rich Lord. He also leaves his many nieces and nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Hattie (Cornwall) Lord and his brother-in-law, Dave Litwiler.
Private family burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.
