Services for William Lee McGuire, 83, of Painesville Twp., will be at 4 PM on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Robert A. Gaston will officiate at the service. <br><br>The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM on Monday, prior to the service, at the funeral home. <br><br>Mr. McGuire passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at the Bay Pines Veterans Administration Medical Center in Saint Petersburg, Florida.<br><br>Born July 7, 1931 in Clymer, PA he came to Northeast Ohio in 1955, having lived in Painesville Township since 2003. <br><br>He was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was an avid golfer and bowler. <br><br>Mr. McGuire was employed at the former Fisher Body Division of General Motors from 1955-1970 and then at Osborne, Inc. from 1970-2003. <br><br>Survivors are his sister, Shirley (Bob) Watson; nieces, Diane (Michael) Kutz and Debbie (Lewis) Wilgus, all of St. Petersburg. He also leaves seven great nieces and nephews.<br><br>He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Helen (Fearon) McGuire; sister, Maxine McGuire and nephew, Greg Watson are also deceased. <br><br>Final resting place will be Oakland Cemetery in Indiana, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, March 3, 2015.<br>
