A Celebration of Life for LaDonna M. Hiatt, age 82 years, of Enid, is 10:00 am, Saturday, July 15, 2017 at St Paul’s Lutheran Church with Reverend Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, July 14, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. LaDonna was born November 22, 1934 in Cherokee, Oklahoma to Leonard and Leona (Wardell) Rudy, and passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 in Enid. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. She married Verneal Hiatt on February 7, 1953 in Fairmont, Oklahoma. She was a licensed beauty operator for several years, then owned and operated Nannies Nursery for 33 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Oklahoma Delta Theta Chi, and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. LaDonna is survived by her husband Verneal Hiatt, of the home in Enid; three children, daughter, Anita Chance; sons Roger Hiatt and wife Terri; Bryan Hiatt and wife Annette, all of Enid; two brothers, Chester Rudy and wife Ronda, of Harrison, ID; Dan Rudy and wife Judy, of Ada, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Jason Chance, Jami Chance and fiance Rubin McBride; Paige Adasiak and husband Colby all of Enid; Alicia Hiatt, of Enid; Ty Hiatt, of Enid; and step-grandsons Stacy Chance; Matt and Adam Holsey of Enid; and twelve great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Leona Rudy, and son in law Larry Chance. Memorials in LaDonna’s name may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
