EMMA GRACE FREEMAN October 23, 1922 September 8, 2007 EMMA GRACE FREEMAN, 84, of Albany died on Saturday September 8, 2007 at the Mennonite Home of Albany. Emma was born October 23, 1922 in Holdenville, Oklahoma the youngest child of Bert and Emma (Hawthorne) Bagwell. She lived near Holdenville throughout her childhood where she attended and completed her schooling. She married Hartsell Freeman in Holdenville on September 10, 1947. They were later divorced. She moved to Albany, Oregon in 1950 where she resided for ten years. She lived in Lacomb from 1960 until moving back to Albany in the late 1970’s. She worked for the Albany School District as a food server for several years. Emma was a long time member of the Lacomb Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, gardening and growing flowers. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Freeman in 1999 and seven brothers and sisters also preceded her. Emma is survived by a son David Freeman and his wife Barbara of Sunriver, OR, daughter, Cathy Freeman of Addison, TX, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday September 12, 2007 11:00 A.M. at the Lacomb Baptist Church. A Private interment will be in Lacomb Cemetery.
