Mario T. Truglio, 74, of Bellefonte, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on May 26, 1942, he was the son of the late Anthony and Marion (Scaturro) Truglio. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rosemary (Salerno) Truglio. Mario was a graduate of Julliard School of Music and held a bachelor’s degree in music and a master’s degree in education. He worked as a musician and an educator. Mario was a 4th degree member of The Knights of Columbus, Holy Mother Mary Council, Smithtown, NY. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters; Donna Haverty-Stacke (Dylan) of New York, Maria Truglio of State College and one son, Joseph Truglio (Emma) of New Jersey; five grandchildren, Anthony, Thomas, Josephine, Harry, and Jasper. There will be a public viewing on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 6-9pm at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring St. Bellefonte with a wake service to be held at 8:30pm with Father George Jakopac officiating. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 134 E. Bishop Street, Bellefonte, PA with Father George Jakopac officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Bellefonte.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Father Raphael Mensah, Holy Name of Mary Academy through Our Lady of Victory RC Church at 820 Westerly Pkwy, State College, PA, 16801.
