Anna Mae Decker, 70, Altoona passed away Friday November 22, 2019 at her home. She was born July 5, 1949 in Pinecroft, daughter of the late Kenneth M., Sr. and Edna E. (Parks) Decker. Surviving are a daughter, Tina A. (Bob) Davis-Schmittle of Bellwood; six grandchildren:, Jeffrey (Joshlyn) Davis, Raychell (Jared) Simington, Thor Schmittle, Kala Wooten, Dalton and Sidney Davis; three great-granddaughters: Rayliee and Amelia Simington and Adelynn Davis; a step-granddaughter: Brittiny Ray; a brother, James L., Sr. (Bonita) Decker of Antis Township; a daughter -in-law, Shannon Davis of Pinecroft; and a sister-in-law, Joyce of Altoona; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons: Wm C.L. “Billy” Davis and Raymond R. Gvozd; a grandson, Jordan Tyler Graham; a step-grandson, Tommy Gvozd-Gordan; and a brother, Kenneth M., Jr. Anna was a graduate of Bellwood Antis High School and the Altoona Hospital Certified Nurse’s Aide program. She retired in 1997 as an administrator at Bellmeade Manor after 15 years of service. Anna was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Antis Township, and also a member of United Veterans Home Assn. and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Bellwood. Her love in life was being a devoted mother and grandmother, and she loved helping and giving to others. At the request of the deceased there will be no services. Contributions in Anna’s memory may be made to Covenant Community Church, Bellwood.
