Anna G. Wessner, 85, Altoona passed away Saturday November 23, 2019 at Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg. She was born February 21, 1934 in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph B. and Florence A. (Himes) Collins. She married John R. Wessner on August 9, 1952 at St. Marks Catholic Church, Altoona, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 2013. Surviving are a daughter, Christine A. Wessner of Richmond, Va.; a son John R. (Dawn) Wessner, Jr. of Hollidaysburg; two grandsons: John R. (Courtney) and Joshua J. (Abby) Wessner both of Hollidaysburg; and two great-granddaughters: Emma and Wrenna Wessner. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Jim Collins. Anna retired as an assembler at Veeder-Root, Duncansville after many years of service. She enjoyed cooking, baking, canning and local high school basketball. She especially loved shopping with her daughter; and traveling around Pennsylvania with her husband. Friends will be received from 10am-12 pm Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc., Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday at the funeral home. Committal will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood
