Barbara S. McClellan, 73, Juniata Gap died early Sunday morning at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona daughter of the late Fredrick and Elizabeth (Noye) Yon. She married Wilmer G. “Pete” McClellan, Sr. on June 21, 1961 in Bellwood and he died July 20, 2011 after 50 years of marriage. Surviving are three sons, Wilmer G. “Pete”, Jr. (Kim) of Fallentimber, Roy E. (Lisa) of Altoona and Scott A. (Tracey) of Fallentimber; nine grandchildren, Melissa, Melinda, Ryan, Kari, Satyn, Dylan, Meghan, Joel and Corey; five great grandchildren, Zoie, Camdin, Gianna, Kaesun and Arrabella; two sisters, Helen Muir and Irma Butterbaugh both of Altoona. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine, a sister, Marjorie Shawley and her step father, Russell Adams. Barb worked as a bookkeeper for McClellan Excavating, Juniata Gap until her death. She enjoyed country line dancing, feeding and watching the birds from her kitchen window and cooking holiday meals for her family. Barb especially enjoyed spending time with her family. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or funeral service. Family and friends are invited to gather from 5-8pm Saturday, December 6, 2014 at First Church of Christ, Juniata Gap. In remembrance of Barb, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Blair County Unit, Hollidaysburg.
