Bea Dorminy, 79, Antis Township, entered the gates of Heaven after an extended illness. She was born in Lexington, OH daughter of the late Norman and Claudia Clever. In August 1971, Bea married Jim Dorminy and together, they dedicated their lives to faith and family. She is survived by her nine children: Rick (Linda) Gray, Claudia (Dick) Anderson, Stacy (Vic) Wursten, Doug (Pam) Gray, Jill (Doug) Hershey, Tonya (George) Palmer, Jim (Paula) Dorminy, Amy Stoy and Jack (Stephanie) Dorminy; 25 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Dave, Dale and John. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; a brother Harold; and sisters, Nita Volz and Kate Stewart. She was a 1955 graduate of Johnsville Ohio High School. She was a member of Hillside Community Church in Bellwood, faithfully serving and trusting her Lord and Savior. Bea loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally, keeping an eye on all in her household. She created a home where all were welcome and greeted with a hug, warm smile and a jar of chocolate chip cookies. For over 40 years, Bea faithfully served Sunday dinner to family and friends that nourished the body and satisfied the soul. Many women do noble things, but she surpassed them all. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8pm Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Hillside Community Church Bellwood, Rev. Ken Beichler officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Bea’s memory be made to Hillside Community Church, Bellwood or a ministry of your individual choice.
