Bonnie J. Adams, 62, Northwood died unexpectedly Monday morning October 21, 2019 at her home. She was born September 6, 1957 in Altoona a daughter of the late Sherrill W. “Duke” and Nancy E. (McFalls) Adams. She is survived by her companion, Paul “Butch” Miles with whom she resided; a daughter, Angelia “Angie” Miles; a granddaughter, Braylyn Clapper; and four sisters, Susan (John) Mayhue of North Carolina, Joy Adams of Altoona, Joan (Rob) Klopp of Bellwood and Amy (Sam) Weaver of Port Matilda. She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Mayhue. Bonnie was a 1975 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School and studied at YTI Career Institute, Altoona in the medical assistant program. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Bellwood. She was employed as a cashier at Martin General Store, Bellwood and a home healthcare provider with Blair County Homemaker & Helpmates. She was formerly employed at Ames Tyrone, Murata, Spectrum Control Inc. and Proctor Silex. Bonnie enjoyed making quilts, watching NASCAR racing and football, especially the New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys and Penn State and listening to country and old rock and roll music. She loved going to the beach, long car rides, train rides and local amusement parks. She also enjoyed sitting on the porch especially during thunderstorms. Her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughter. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019 and 10 to 11am Friday, Oct. 25, 2019 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood
