Carol Lee Rinker, 64, Bellwood died Sunday afternoon at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona daughter of the late Donald E. and Betty (Rutledge) Markel. She married Richard Allen Rinker on Aug. 17, 19¬¬67 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Bellwood. Surviving are her husband; a son, Richard A., Jr. (Ann) of Bellwood; a daughter, Theresa (Michael) Rodland of Bellwood; 5 grandchildren, Mikayla, Lauren and Logan Rodland and Reese and Sadie Rinker; and two sisters, Charlene Fink of Tyrone and Betty Mae Shade in Florida. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jack Friday and Dennis Markel. Carol retired as a child caregiver at Mt. Laurel Daycare, Bellwood. She enjoyed camping, boating at Glendale Lake and Howard Dam and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 6-8PM Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood where a funeral service will be held at 11AM Thursday, June 19, 2014 with Associate Pastor Randy Zitterbart officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
