Carole Engle

Carole K. Engle January 19, 1940 - September 30, 2013 Carole K. Engle, 73 of Antis Township went to be with the Lord on Monday morning surrounded by her family at her home. She was born in Bellwood daughter of the late Robert W. and Almeda P. (Woomer) Hollen. She married Edward S. Engle, Jr. on September 25, 1962 in York. Surviving are her husband; seven children: Edward S., III of Bellwood, Corinthia A. (Patrick) Morningstar of Sinking Valley, Kristina K. (Willy) Hockenberry of Blandburg, Robert W., Timothy J. (Danielle), Scott A. (Theresa) and Amy R. Abrams all of Bellwood; twelve grandchildren: Danielle, Amanda, Ashley, Robert, Amber, Brittney, Kasey, Shannon, Angel, Clayton, Kara and Claudia; three brothers: Duane W. and Thomas G. Hollen both of Bellwood and Kenneth W. Hollen of Tyrone; and three sisters: Faye L. Litten of York, Peg Campbell and Helen E. Walk both of Bellwood. She was preceded in death by a sister: Elaine Joy Hollen and a brother: Gary L. Hollen. Carole was a caregiver/nurse's aide for fifty five years. She was a member of Bellwood Church of the Brethren. She loved music especially the oldies and Elvis. Carol enjoyed playing cards with her special friends, bingo and crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 11a.m. until the 2p.m. funeral service on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood with Pastor Rod Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township. The family suggests that contributions in Carole's memory be made to Bellwood Church of the Brethren. www.russinfuneralhome.com
