Clyde Flaugh

Clyde F. Flaugh, 88, Bellmeade died Wednesday at Graystone Manor at Bellmeade. He was born in Queen son of the late Perry L. and Lillian L. (Corle) Harpster. On September 19, 1946 he married Lulu E. Hostler at E.U.B Church, Bellwood. Surviving are his wife of 69 years; two sons, Clyde “Eugene” of Bloomsburg and Perry L. of Bellwood; a daughter, Brenda L. (Eugene) Flaugh-Talko of Bellwood; five grandchildren, Mark Flaugh of Bloomsburg, Christine Flaugh of Norristown, Matthew Flaugh of Morgantown, WV, Rachel Flaugh of Bellwood and Jordan Barroner of Riggles Gap; four step grandchildren, Valerie (Frank) Plewa of Gettysburg, Michelle Talko of Chicago, Jeff (Beth) Talko of Cresson and Gregg (Kristin) Talko of Lilly; two great-grandchildren, Owen and Paige Flaugh; and six step great-grandchildren, Brock, Ryne, Trey and Erin Talko, Liza Dewhite and Drake Talko. He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond. Clyde was a 1945 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School and a US Navy veteran of World War II. He retired in 1987 as plant superintendent at Small Tube Products, Hollidaysburg after 29 years of service. Clyde was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Bellwood where he served on the administrative board. He was a member of Horseshoe Drifters Camping Club and enjoyed hunting, golfing, bowling and especially spending time at the hunting camp. Friends will be received from 5-8pm Friday, April 8, 2016 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood and 10-11am Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 11am Saturday at the church, the Revs Arthur Shotts and Norman Huff officiating. Interment with military honors will be held at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township The family suggests that contributions in Clyde’s memory be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, Bellwood.
