Cynthia L. Hemcher, 64, Altoona died Tuesday evening, November 17, 2020 at UPMC Altoona. She was born September 10, 1956 in Altoona, daughter of Richard E. and the late Joyce (Kramer) Williams. On April 5, 1991, she married James L. Hemcher at Asbury United Methodist Church, Altoona. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Michael DelMastro and Jason Hemcher, both of Altoona; a daughter, Shana A. (Michael) Parks of Xenia, Ohio; 5 grandchildren, Andrew Parks, Brittany (Grant) Inge, Noah and Meghan Parks, and Alexandria Hemcher; her father of Altoona; a sister, Terry (John) Rutherford of Bellwood; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Dustin P. DelMastro in 2019. She was a 1974 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. Cynthia was a former manager of the deli department of Martin’s Food, Juniata for many years, and was most recently employed at Martin’s Starbucks, Altoona. She was a member of Juniata Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls and trips to the beach. She was a great cook and loved cooking for others to enjoy. Cynthia especially loved her grandchildren and time spent with them. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of her family. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery, Logan Township.
