Don O. Hall, 87, Altoona died Friday at GoldenLiving Center-Hillview.

He was born in Altoona son of the late John and Florence (McCloskey) Hall. He married Dolores Smith on July 28, 1954 in Cumberland, Maryland.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Crystal A. (John) Stevens of Bellwood; a granddaughter, Brittany L.Hall of Tyrone; and a sister, Janet Ray of Zachary, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by a son, John Alan; and siblings, Sara Moore, Mary Jane Healey, and John, Robert and Patricia Hall.

During his childhood he lived in Grazierville, then resided in Bellwood for many years. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a butcher having worked at Juniata Packing Co., Tyrone and Giordano Sausage Co., Altoona. Don enjoyed fishing, working on cars, his many pets and especially spending time with his family.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service.
