Edward Heuston

Edward C. Heuston, 71, Bellwood died Saturday morning at his home. He was born in Altoona son of the late Guy Edward and Pauline L. (Brown) Heuston. He married Janet L. Cordes on Dec. 4, 1965 at Logan’s Valley Baptist Church, Bellwood. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Robert A. (Tracie) of Bellwood and Ronald C. (Traci) of New Kensington; four grandchildren, Nicole, Ashley, Ronald, Jr. and Elizabeth; two step grandchildren, Ashley and Avery; a brother, Jerry Burket of Florida; and a sister, Marjorie Dilworth of Maryland. He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. Ed retired as a welder at Norfolk Southern Railroad, Altoona. He was a member of Tipton Baptist Church and John M. Anderson Post 424 American Legion, Bellwood. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed woodworking and was a football fan always rooting for the underdog. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8pm, Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood. A funeral service, with military honors, will be held at 11am Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Dan Woodring and Pastor John Pine. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township. The family suggests that contributions in Ed’s memory be made to a charity of individual choice.
