Edward R. Wingrove, 68, Antis Township died unexpectedly early Saturday morning December 22, 2018 at UPMC Altoona. He was born May 18, 1950 in Connellsville, son of the late Joseph and Delinda (Darkangelo) Wingrove. On June 27, 1992 he married Karen J. Hegarty at Logan Valley Presbyterian Church, Bellwood. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Joseph Daniel at home, and Edward and Clint in Georgia; 5 grandchildren; two brothers, Bruce and Joseph both of Perryopolis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Moon. Ed was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. He retired as a mechanic at General Cable, Altoona. Ed was a member of Bellwood UVHA and FOE and he enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. Friends will be received from 6-8pm Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 11am Sat. Dec. 29, 2018 at the funeral home, Pastor Randy Zitterbart officiating.
