Eileen Mary Estright, 70, Altoona died Wednesday afternoon at Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg. She was born in Winchester, Mass. daughter of the late John William and Dorothy Ann (Gay) Doherty. She married James A. Estright on Jan. 18, 1969 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Surviving are her husband of 47 years; three daughters, Michele A. (Jeffrey) Leamer of Bellmeade, Lisa M. (Michael) Hawn of Bellwood and Lori L. Yeager of Altoona; four grandchildren, Katelyn Marie and Kelly Ann Leamer and Christopher and Jacob Hawn; and her cat, Lilly. She was preceded in death by a brother John W. Doherty, III. Eileen retired in 2011 from the communications department of Altoona Hospital. She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed fishing and watching her grandchildren play sports and she especially loved spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 6-9pm Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood where a vigil for the deceased will also be held. A funeral mass will be held at 10am Monday, October 3, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellwood, Rev. Alan Thomas, celebrant. Committal will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
