Frances Litz

Frances E. Litz, 65, Altoona died early Sunday morning at her home after an extended illness. She was born in Altoona daughter of the late Robert E. and Helen J. (Swanger) Sorg. She married Michael L. Litz on August 12, 1980 in Winchester, Va. Surviving are her husband; a son, Bradley Nicodemus of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Whitney L. Litz of Pittsburgh; and her grandchild, Aiden Nicodemus. Frances was a 1968 graduate of Bellwood Antis High School. She enjoyed reading and was a fan of the television series “Gunsmoke”. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors and taking car rides in the country. Friends will be received from 5-7pm Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 7pm Tuesday at the funeral home, Rev. Norman Huff officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood. The family suggests that contributions in Fran’s memory be made to Home Nursing Hospice.
