Helen Walk

Helen E. Walk Dec. 26, 1932 – Dec. 27, 2019 Helen E. Walk, 87, Bellwood, went home to be with the Lord Friday morning, at Maybrook Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona. She was born in Bellwood, daughter of the late Robert W. and Almeda P. (Woomer) Hollen. On Sept. 28, 1951, she married William Walk in Winchester, Va., and he preceded her in death on Sept. 23, 2019. Surviving are two sons, Ronald L. and George A. (Elizabeth), both of Bellwood; two daughters, Marilyn (Don) Boytim of Tyrone and Karen Sinisi of Altoona; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Duane W. Hollen, of Bellwood, Kenneth W. and Thomas G. Hollen both of Tyrone; a sister, Peg Campbell of Bellwood; 3 daughters-in-law, Robin, Yonnie and Marge Walk. She was preceded in death by four sons, infant Bill, Gerald L. “Bog”, William R. “Woody” and David J.; a brother, Gary L. Hollen; three sisters, Elaine Joy Hollen, Carole K. Engle and Faye L. Litten; and a son in law, Richard Sinisi. Helen was a member of Covenant Community Church, Bellwood. She enjoyed reading her Bible daily and crossword puzzles. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm Monday, Dec. 30, 2019 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc., Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, at the funeral home, Pastor Joshua Crumlich officiating. Interment will be at Antis Cemetery, Antis Township.
