Joanne L. Makin, 87, Bellmeade, died Saturday evening January 4, 2020 at Graystone Manor at Bellmeade. She was born April 17, 1932 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, daughter of the late Jack and Estella (Hoffman) Keefer. She married Lewis Samuel Makin and he preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 2016. Surviving are four children, Bruce, Scott, and Gregg Makin and Luanne Phillips; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Joanne was a homemaker and part owner of the Station Mall Gardners Candy Store. She enjoyed collecting Beanie Babies. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren who affectionately called her “Bammy” To honor Joanne’s request, there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral services.
