John C. Geyer, 78, Bellwood died Friday morning June 30, 2017 at his home. He was born June 18, 1939 in York son of the late Hammond and Verna (Klinefelter) Geyer. On December 27, 1996 he married Trina Jo Miller in Winchester, Va. Surviving are his wife; three sons, John C., Jr of Tuscon, Ariz., Sebastian and John C., III both of Bellwood; two daughters, VelvaDawn and Desirette both in Michigan; 3 grandchildren; a brother, Hammond in Maryland; and a sister Ellie Hayes in New York. John retired from the US Army at the rank of sergeant first class serving as a helicopter pilot with 22 years of service. He then became an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed yardwork, working around the house, computer games and football and baseball. At John’s request, there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service.
