Leah Romaine Broadbent, 86, of Antis Township died Friday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Diane, surrounded by her family after an extended illness. She was born in Bellwood daughter of the late Robert F. and Sarah R. (Bratton) Kustaborder. She married Robert P. Broadbent on August 16, 1947 in Bellwood and he preceded her in death on July 14, 1990. Surviving are two sons, Larry R. and George K. (Marilyn) both of Antis Township; two daughters, Diane K. (Melvin) Estep and Debra A. (Mike) Hostler both of Antis Township; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a sister, Janet Derr of Mifflin. She was preceded in death by a grandson, David Hostler and a sister, Eva Ruth Hopkins. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Bellwood. Romaine enjoyed flower gardening, watching nature at her home, cross-stitching, reading and keeping her daily journal. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of her family officiated by Pastor John Winesickle. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Home Nursing Agency Hospice.
