Loretta Crider

Loretta M. (Yetter) Crider, 74, Hollidaysburg, died unexpectedly Friday, March 18, 2016. She was born march 19, 1941 in Wilkes Barre daughter of the late Clair B. and Edna M. (Maxwell) Yetter. She was thrice- married , first to Ronald A. Crider, then to Frank T. Blazevich and then Sheldon R. Burk. Surviving is a son, Michael J. Crider and wife, Pam of Enola; a daughter, Dawn M. (Crider) Durham and husband, David; three granddaughters, Samantha J. (Crider) Mummert and husband, Jared, Jennifer M. Crider and Alexandra Durham; three great grandchildren, Abigail L., Annabelle R. and Benjamin M. Mummert; three sisters, Shelby McKim of Petersburg, Sarah Bullock and husband, Jake of Bellwood, and Betty Weaver of Concord, New Hampshire; and her loving companion, Mike Turek of Bellwood. She was preceded in death by two brothers in law, Ralph McKim and A. Miles Weaver. Loretta retired in 2001 as a clerk typist at the Department of Public Welfare, Hollidaysburg after 31 years of service. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hollidaysburg where she enjoyed doing volunteer work. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting, bowling and growing houseplants. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends will be received from 6-8pm Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood where a funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday, March 24, 2016, Pastor Grace Marie Ransom officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery at Newton Hamilton. The family suggests that contributions in Loretta’s memory may be made to Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, PO Box 1245 Albert Lea, MN 56007 or Making Strides Against Breast Cancer c/o American Cancer Society 1004 N.
