Lulu Flaugh Obituary

Lulu E. “Lou” Flaugh, 89, Bellmeade died early Tuesday morning at her home. She was born in Bellwood daughter of the late Austin and Jessie (Caswell) Hostler. On September 19, 1946 she married Clyde F. Flaugh at E.U.B Church, Bellwood and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2016. Surviving are two sons, Clyde “Eugene” (Janice) of Bloomsburg and Perry L. of Bellwood; a daughter, Brenda L. (Eugene) Flaugh-Talko of Bellwood; five grandchildren, Mark (Nicole) Flaugh of Bloomsburg, Christine Flaugh of Norristown, Matthew Flaugh of Morgantown, WV, Rachel Flaugh of Bellwood and Jordan (Josh)Barroner of Riggles Gap; four step grandchildren, Valerie (Frank) Plewa of Gettysburg, Michelle Talko of Chicago, Jeff (Beth) Talko of Cresson and Gregg (Kristin) Talko of Lilly; two great-grandchildren, Owen and Paige Flaugh; and six step great-grandchildren, Brock, Ryne, Trey and Erin Talko, Liza Dewhite and Drake Talko; two brothers, Wayne Hostler of Ohio and Austin Hostler of Emporium; and two sisters, Eva Flaugh of Driftwood and Eunice Albright of Altoona. She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Madalyn N. Barroner; and six siblings, Allen, Bill, Bernard, Melvin, and Lloyd Hostler and Beatrice Harper. Lou was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Bellwood where she served as Sunday school secretary and treasurer and was a member of the choir. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and was a member of the Horseshoe Drifters Camping Club. Friends will be received from 5-8pm Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood and 10-11am Friday, Sept. 9, 2016 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 11am Friday at the church, Rev. Donald Moshgat officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township The family suggests that contributions in Lou’s memory be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, Bellwood.
