Margie A. Chille, 72, Bellwood died peacefully Saturday afternoon November 16, 2019 at UPMC Altoona. She was born December 7, 1946 in Altoona, daughter of the late William I., Jr. and Sara J. “Sally” (Wallace) Young. She was twice married, first to Donald J. Chille on Aug. 21, 1967 in Bellwood, and he preceded her in death on March 13, 1989. She then married Dale A. Drake on June 25, 2005 at Birmingham Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband, Dale; a daughter, Maria C. (James) Waxmonsky of Harrisburg; a son, Donald K. (Shannon) Chille of Altoona; four grandchildren, Alex, Ava, Olivia and Maxwell; and a sister, Margaret E. (Bill) Stimer of Tyrone. Margie was a 1964 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. She was a homemaker and also retired as a receptionist at New Pig Corp., Tipton. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bellwood and attended Birmingham Presbyterian Church. Margie enjoyed cooking, baking and cake decorating. She also enjoyed fishing with her husband, Dale. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 4 to 7pm, Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of her family, with Pastor Paul Bottenfield officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
