Margie A. Messner, 87, Bellwood died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Bellwood daughter of the late Percy C. and Mary Elizabeth (Myers) Messner. Surviving are two brothers, Kay D. of Bellwood and Ray R. of Altoona; two sisters, Maddy L. Berkstresser of Bellwood and Marian “Mitzi” Shuster of New Jersey. She was preceded in death by siblings, Curtis, Robert W. “Mack”, Elizabeth “Nettle” Nagle and Ruth Carr. Margie retired October 25, 1985 as an x-ray technician at Altoona Hospital after more than 29 years of service. She enjoyed woodworking. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral services. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.Obituary
